How to Add or Update or Delete Users

Creating/Updating/Deleting users can only be performed by an Admin.

Navigate to your profile in the top right corner and select Users from the menu.  If Users is not an option, then it is likely you do not have an admin account.

How to add a new user:

  • Click your user profile in the top right header.
  • In the menu, select users.
  • Click the + icon in the top right green header to add a user.
  • Enter the user details
  • Select create and the new user will receive a welcome email from Mod Advisor to create their password and multi factor authentication.

How to update a user account:

  • Click your user profile in the top right header.
  • In the menu, select users.
  • Click the edit icon in the action menu to modify the users email, phone, user type
  • Click update when done.

How to delete a user account:

  • Click your user profile in the top right header.
  • In the menu, select users.
  • Click delete user from the action menu.  

 

Here are the different user types.

Admin Admins have full permissions including the ability to add users, lock/unlock accounts, and ability to manage and update the Agency Information page.  You can have more than one admin.

User - Users can log into Mod Advisor and access all accounts and mod files within your organization. They can create and manage accounts, update mod files, and run or share reports.  They cannot add users or update the agency information page.  A user can lock/unlock and account as long as they are the account owner.

Producers - Producers do not have a login to Mod Advisor. When you add a producer as user what you are doing is allowing that person to appear on cover page reports for producer branding.  

In the event the initial email expires, the new user can just go to modadvisor.com and on the login page select forgot password to reset the initial login.
