How to Change or Update the Rating Effective Date

To update the Rating Effective Date on a mod file, follow these steps.

1. Select the Account that you want to update.  
2. Inside the Account you'll see the list of mod files.
3. Under the Action Menu, there is a blue pencil icon that when you hover your mouse over it, then it will display edit mod.
4. This will display a pop up that will allow you to modify the Rating Effective Date on a file.
5. Select Update 
6. From there head into your file and it should refresh and update the mod value and rating data.  If it doesn't, then simply select the refresh mod option.

Please note that when updating the rating effective date, you may need to update the policy period effective and expiration date or Mod Advisor may exclude some of these policy periods using standard rating rules.
