What is the Credit Tab

The Credit Tab is located in the mod file section of Mod Advisor and will only appear when a state offers a credit.  The available are:

• Drug Free Workplace Credit
• Workplace Safety Credit
• MCPAP - MN Contractors Premium Credit

The only states these credits are available are:

Alabama

• Arkansas
• Florida
• Georgia
• Hawaii
• Idaho
• Kentucky
• Minnesota
• Mississippi
• South Carolina

Please note that not all credits are available in every state.  The credits available are determined by the rating bureau.

These are premium credits on the policy.  When the credit is applied in Mod Advisor the credit percent is applied to expected losses and reduces the amount of expected losses and can and usually increased the experience mod score.  This is because in the calculation actual losses are compared to expected losses.  When the expected losses value decreases the mod score increases.  It is important to verify if the premium credit makes sense for your client.
