Employee Age at Claim

The Employee Age at Claim is an important data point used in claim analysis to looks for trends in age groups.

Here is how it works. 

The employee age at claims value is automatically calculated on the Claims screen when the employee's Date of Birth and Date of Injury are both entered.  You can enter the values manually or they can be imported via the excel or loss run import tool.  

In the event that you do not have the date of birth, then the employee age at claim field will remain blank, but you have the option to manually enter the employee age.

To recap

  • If the Date of Birth and Date of Injury fields have information, then employee age at will be calculated. 
  • If either of those fields are blank, then employee age will NOT be calculated.
  • You are free to manually enter the age information on the webpage or via the excel file and import it back into Mod Advisoe.
